The lawyers in the K.W. v. Armstrong lawsuit will be arguing in court this Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 3:30 pm MT / 2:30 pm PT.

This hearing is about Medicaid missing its deadline. The Court ordered Medicaid to finish the new system by June 2022. The new system should be a fair way of coming up with your annual budget. But Medicaid’s deadline passed over two years ago.

Medicaid still has not finished the new system. We do not know when it will finish the new system. So we are asking the judge to order more protections for you. The budget system right now is not fair. Your budget should not limit your services. And you should get more help figuring out how to get the budget you need. At this court hearing, we will be asking for those things.

This Wednesday 1/8/2025 at 3:30 pm MT / 2:30 pm PT, the lawyers for both sides will make their arguments to the judge. You can listen in by phone. You cannot record the hearing.

To listen, dial 1 669 254 5252 and use:

Meeting ID: 161 922 0408
Passcode: 899117

You can also attend in person in Boise. The hearing will be held at the federal courthouse at 550 West Fort Street, Boise, ID 83724 on the 6th floor in courtroom #3.
